Easter at the Ace
Easter was early this year but, after a long winter with little opportunity to go riding, we wanted to get away on the bikes. We decided it was time for another pilgrimage to the famous Ace Cafe, London
A brief comfort break at a service area on the M4. We encountered little traffic, but clocked a 14 mile queue in the opposite direction!
We arrived at the Ace, in glorious sunshine, just before noon on Good Friday
Taking it easy outside the Ace
A very Triton-esque Harley
We tore ourselves away from the Ace on Saturday morning (when sunburn looked like becoming a real issue) and went into central London. We found this beautiful Victorian styled pub next door to Liberty. They did some great pies for lunch too!
Although we were away from the Ace, we still found ourselves checking out the bikes. We came across this Benelli TNT in Covent Garden
But we spent the overwhelming majority of our time taking it easy, catching the sights and sounds that make the Ace so special
