Hullo, thanks for responding about vertigo thing! Love your website, I used to live in Bristol and often visited Weston and Brean when the sun shone. It's good to see women bikers! I'm 31 and bought the Hornet in April after riding an old Kawasaki Z250 for a year. Passed my test back in 96 though, so I'm still fairly new to the game seeing as I couldn't afford a bike until the Kawasaki. I'd love a Hornet 900 eventually too, but I can only just touch the ground on the 600 and the reach on that is just right too. I live in Plymouth now, where there's a huge biking fraternity, and I've seen a few Hornets about, but I've only seen one or two women riders about (not pillions). When I'm a bit more confident, I'll probably go to some meets and try and find some! Cheers, Maria.

Hi Andy and Janet, First of all, Happy New Year and congratulations on your website. Very well done. I have been visiting your site regularly for quite some time, and I enjoy your style, your sense of humor, your rantings...I consider myself a newbie, cause I only discovered this love for motorcycles quite lately and I don't have the time to ride as much as I would like :(. A question for Andy: Do you care to share your thoughts about a comparo GSX1400 <-> CB1300 ? The CB feels more sportier, more nimble ? Either an answer by email or as a ranting in Torque Monsters is much appreciated! A question for Janet: How is your Hornet holding up? And although you briefly rided the Kawa Z1000, do you care to compare? I think I went to long. Ride safe, and all the best to you. Daniel
