An Overnighter to Ross-on-Wye

 

The 27th of May 2012 marked 30 years to the day since Janet passed her bike test. The day dawned fair and so it seemed appropriate to go on a ride in honour of the occasion.

 

First stop Tintern Abbey

 

We parked the bikes in the shade of the abbey walls

 

It was a peaceful spot to pause and watch the world go by for a while

 

We then rode on to Ross-on-Wye where we'd booked a room for the night, and Janet decided that it was time for Pimm's on the lawn

 

Andy entered into the spirit of it, but preferred a nice cold beer

 

A great pair of bikes for a quick getaway
